Rose André Armand was born in the quaint town of St. Marc, Haiti, “Perle des Antilles.” She moved to Petite Riviere de L’Artibonite where she completed her primary and secondary schooling. She later went on to attend College Frere Adrien Du Sacre Coeur in Port-Au-Prince. After completing her schooling Rose later re-located to Spring Valley, NY, where she currently resides.
Rose began her nursing education, attending Rockland Community College in Suffern, NY. She later went on to attend Dominican College in Orangeburg, NY thereby attaining her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Everyone’s health and life situation is unique and Rose keeps that in mind when providing care. Rose believe that personalized, quality health services is essential to her patients. With the right care provided to her patients, and they can reach their optimal well-being.
Rose began her nursing career at Lincoln Medical Hospital in Bronx, NY. Rose worked there for 7 years. She later moved on to a nursing agency working at Westchester Community Center in White Plains, NY. Rose currently works for HASCO in Spring Valley, NY as a ….
As a dedicated nurse, Rose had a desire to help those around her. When asked to join the valued organization Haitian American Nurses Association or HANA she graciously accepted. Joining HANA has allowed her to give back to the community. If she could make one person’s life a little better, then she was successful. As one of the founding members of HANA Rose has held the position of assistant treasurer, assistant secretary and currently serves as the treasurer. Rose is the chair of the Health Fair Committee.
