Born in the United States of America, raised in Haiti, Wendy Valerie Boisrond attended Sainte Thérèse de l’Enfant Jésus,a French based educational system school in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. At only fifteen (15) years old, she obtained a State Diploma of Culinary Arts at Secret Des Femmes. Wendy then moved to the United States in 2005 where she attended Ramapo High School and received her High School Diploma. She continued her studies and earned her Associate of Arts in Culinary Arts & Nutrition from Atlanta College in Georgia, in 2009. Since then, Chef Wendy has been catering for events and managing different restaurants including her family catering business, Yolimart, within the United States and Haiti.

Aware and sensitive to the needs of those around her, she wanted to do more and have a greater impact on society. In 2013, her career took an exciting turn when she became a Licensed Practical Nurse from Rockland BOCES. At that time, she credited that new found energy to succeed from the birth of her son Devon Michel. In 2015, she also earned an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Jersey College and Continuing Education in Public Health where she received an Award as “Patient Advocate”.
