The Haitian American Nurses Association of Hudson Valley, NY, Inc. (HANA Hudson Valley) proudly presents its 8th Annual Nursing Education Symposium on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Good Samaritan Hospital Auditorium, 255 Lafayette Ave, Suffern, NY 10901.
This year’s theme, “Community Resilience: Nurses as Pillars of Support in Times of Change,” emphasizes the vital role nurses play in supporting health during uncertain times while showcasing innovative and collaborative approaches in healthcare.
Goals & Objectives:
- Highlight the critical contributions of nurses in advancing community health.
- Provide a platform to share successful outreach initiatives and innovative practices that enhance care.
- Identify challenges nurses face as community health advocates and discuss potential solutions.
- Explore nursing leadership in navigating policy change and sustaining resilience in communities.
Admission & Fees:
- Free with valid student ID for nursing students from Dominican University, Mercy University, Pace University, and Rockland Community College (RCC).
- $50 for Pre-licensed Nursing Students
- $100 for Symposium only
- $275 for Gala & Symposium
